World Question Center: Hangzhou Residency and North Wind

The 2022 Hangzhou residency connects collective creation, North Wind recruitment and public-space practice. This archive retains the five initiators, participant writing, cancellation and relocation notices, and subsequent reflections.

Relationship to P4: P4 travelled to Hangzhou at the invitation of the World Question Center. North Wind’s Hangzhou call connects to the residency records. Residency initiators, North Wind members and individual-event performers retain their distinct credits.

Archive notes and attribution limits
  • The period 7 April–6 May and 100 players are announced plans, not verified attendance figures.
  • He Fa’s July retrospective records a month-long residency and disagreements; Qu Wenhao’s November text provides another reflection.
  • The original Tianmuli Falling into Alice Lake event was cancelled. The relocation plan and six announced performers remain in the related project archive.
  • The 4 June 2022 North Wind residency article is known through its title and backlink; this page relies on other complete records.
