A catalogue opens the work of making
Fourth Log does not catalogue only finished performances. Its public titles include script readings, auditions, rehearsals, discussions and conversations after a presentation. They offer ways to enter a project before or after its public form. Meat Grinder, Porphyria and Four Eyes provide different points of entry.
Begin with the project name, the rehearsal date written in the title and the date of the public upload. Then note the people named in the record. Keeping those details together helps place a long video within a process of making, rather than treating every upload as the date of a new performance.

Watch with a particular question
Choose a small question for viewing: how is a line tried, how does discussion become action, or when does someone observe rather than perform? This allows repetition, pauses and changes to matter without requiring a complete theoretical framework in advance.
Read a video beside the project’s call, introduction and participant writing. Each source gives access to a different part of making the work. The catalogue identifies a public record; close interpretation begins by attending to its sound, people and actions.
